First 5 San Bernardino (F5SB) proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary by honoring Local Champions—individuals and organizations whose collaborative efforts have significantly improved outcomes for children ages 0-5 in San Bernardino County. Receiving this award are Dr. Marti Baum, Pediatrician and Medical Director at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital; James Moses, Regional Director at CCRC; Michelle Parker, SAFE KIDS Inland Empire Coordinator at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital; Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes; Ted Alejandre, the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools; and Reyna Sanchez, San Bernardino County parent and F5SB Advisory Committee member.
These champions have been instrumental in fostering partnerships, contributing to community growth and ensuring every young child and family has access to the resources they need to thrive. Thank you to our Local Champions!
