Family Support
Families and communities are engaged, supported, and strengthened through effective resources and opportunities that assist them in nurturing, caring, and providing for their children’s success and well-being. In order to support the best outcomes for children, it is important to support the family. There are times that the best approach to support the family is to strengthen the ecosystem.
The Family Support Initiative (FSI) investment provides parenting education classes, structured case management services, basic needs provision and connection to helpful services to increase family stability. FSI is intended to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect by building parenting skills and increasing family’s economic, social and emotional stability.
