Five days. Five cities. Thousands of books. First 5 San Bernardino kicks off its Gift a Kid a Book with a Tour Across San Bernardino County.
This October, First 5 San Bernardino is taking its Gift a Kid a Book campaign on the road with a Pop-Up Literacy Tour, bringing free books, family friendly activities and the joy of reading to communities across San Bernardino County.
Families with children ages 5 and under are invited to join us for a free literacy experience designed to help little ones build their home libraries and participate in the fun of gifting a book!
1,000 BOOKS WILL BE GIVEN AWAY AT EACH POP-UP!
Registered children will have the opportunity to:
- Choose up to 4 books to take home
- Receive their own “Gift for a Friend” to pass on
- Have a snack
- Take a photo with Potter the Otter
- Take home additional literacy resources and materials

Time: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM with the exception of Big Bear on 10/20, which is 2-4 PM.
All events are free, but registered families will receive priority access at their selected pop-up.
